 Open Positions

Below are the available positions we are hiring for at DixieMazeFarms. These positions are seasonal and only for this years Summer Fest. Our Summer Fest  is from June 10th to June 25th. You must be at least 16 years old to work at DixieMaze Farms.

Farm Hand

Our Farm Hands do any and everything from cleaning bathrooms, working attractions, concessions, etc. We ensure all of our guests have a great time during their visit and leave with lifelong lasting memories. We ensure all work areas and play areas are safe and clean for our guests. We do this by cleaning our farm regularly, perform regular maintenance on attractions, crowd control, excellent customer service.

Farm Hands need to be able to: (including but not limited to)

  • Operate Register
  • Make Change/Handle Cash and Credit Card
  • Greet and Serve customers
  • Understand and practice customer service skills
  • Set up equipment and supplies (daily)
  • Close down equipment and supplies (daily)
  • Clean equipment and supplies (daily & weekly)
  • Stock and maintain supplies/inventory
  • Operate equipment/tools
  • Prep supplies
  • Clean/maintain attraction areas
  • Understand/Maintain proper personal hygiene
  • Foster a sense of teamwork and community

This position requires many skills including:

  1. Attention-to-Detail. Farm Hands must be able to follow directions and company policies, such as safety guidelines.
  2. Customer Service. Providing excellent customer service is a huge part of the Farm Hand role. You must be able to communicate effectively and handle customers in high-stress environments.
  3. Collaboration. Farm Hands need to be able to work well on a team. It takes multiple people working together to handle the crowds we face.
  4. Communication Skills. Farm Hands should be effective communicators both to customers and each other while on the clock.
  5. Multitasking. Just like a fast-food worker, you will need to be nimble and able to multitask effectively. Likely, Farm Hands will be working with multiple Visitors at once during their shifts.

Concessions

We are in search of those who have experience in the kitchen, serving large amounts of people, prepping food, cleaning after groups, dealing with large groups or crowds, can work weekends and weekend nights.

Concession Staff need to be able to: (including but not limited to)

  • Operate Register
  • Make Change/Handle Cash and Credit Card
  • Greet and Serve customers
  • Understand and practice customer service skills

  • Close down equipment and supplies (daily)
  • Clean equipment and supplies (daily & weekly)

  • Prep ingredients/condiments/supplies
  • Assemble/prepare food items
  • Clean/maintain dining/public areas
  • Clean/maintain Prep/Storage areas
  • Understand/Maintain proper personal hygiene
  • Foster a sense of teamwork and community

This position requires many skills including:
